Perhaps if you write to jamie or mdcurran directly and, if possible, also send them a sample page to look at, they could give you some insight and also involve us in if part of the phenomenon is related to Firefox.

  184. # [19:57] <capella> there we go
  185. # [19:59] <tbsaunde> capella: ok? I was just going to hope marco would try applying the patch in the bug to aurora if it gets approved

  187. # [20:00] <@hub> eeejay: gah, now I have to write a build system for svox.
  188. # [20:00] <@hub> or not
  189. # [20:00] <@eeejay> hub, why?
  190. # [20:01] <capella> tbsaunde: ok ... saw the bugzilla alert ... checking in since I was involved
  191. # [20:01] <@hub> eeejay: if I want to build it standalone for desktop
  192. # [20:02] <tbsaunde> hub: just use debian's?
  193. # [20:02] <@hub> tbsaunde: I don't use debian, that's for starter
  194. # [20:02] <tbsaunde> hub: you can still grab the stuff in there git tree =p
  195. # [20:03] <tbsaunde> (the build system they wrote)
  196. # [20:03] <@hub> ah
  197. # [20:03] <tbsaunde> although if we decide we want to pull pico into gecko which I think we might then it might make sense to write our own

  199. # [20:04] <@marcoz> tbsaunde: Sorry, I wasn't following the discussion earlier, and the scroll-back doesn't help me much. Please put anything you need on Aurora in the bug and I will try to take care of it ASAP.
  200. # [20:08] <@marcoz> eeejay: Seen it? All patches in Aurora.
  201. # [20:09] <@marcoz> eeejay: The only thing left, but I think we can just do that for 16 and beyond, is that the "Bookmark" and one other button which somehow get reparented from menu items, don't have contentDescriptions in the tablet UI.
  202. # [20:09] <@marcoz> So this is specific to tablets.

  210. # [20:46] <@eeejay> the icons on desktop b2g gaia are so pretty, and on the sgs2 they are ugly. can't figure out why
  211. # [20:48] <@hub> eeejay: because I believe desktop gaia is the one you get on Otoro phones
  212. # [20:48] <@hub> eeejay: which is indeed not the same as the one I have on my SGS2
  213. # [20:49] <@eeejay> hub, so it is a dpi issue? the ugly icons are the high dpi versions?
