- # [00:35] <dbaron> TabAtkins, why did https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/csswg/rev/3e45563964a5 substantially change the meaning of animation-fill-mode (in terms of what gets filled)?
- # [00:43] * Quits: Ms2ger (~Ms2ger@public.cloak) ("nn")
- # [01:12] <estellevw> dbaron: TabAtkins I also tested IE. Only Safari is in compliance with that fill-mode on partial animation cycle, but FF, Chrome, IE and Opera are all in agreement on setting the last keyframe viewed as the state for that fill-mode (rahter than the 100% keyframe, as per the spec and Safari).
- # [01:13] <estellevw> dbaron: the revision may have been updated a lot in that version because also added was "Non-integer numbers
- # [01:13] <estellevw> 1.121 - will cause the animation to end part-way through a cycle. "
- # [01:13] <estellevw> if i recall correctly, not looking at revisions, partial animations -- or floats for animation-iteration-count, used to not be valid
- # [01:14] <estellevw> so this is a 'new' issue to the spec. Animations used to not end before the completion of a cycle unless set to paused or detached from the element
