so like what's the final iteration? is what's currently used on your website still the same as what's documented here? over-all it's been an interesting read especially keeping accessibility in mind with your design. a true a11y.

i wonder if you're still not sure about whether or not it's needed on the web. i quite like these features when browsing anything related to documentation or articles, and depending on the time on day without having to fiddle with my standard dark mode for my system, browser or IDE.

Very cool! I love the simplicity of the implementation.

Depending on personal preference, you could simplify further by expressing this.parentNode.nextElementSibling.setAttribute('srcdoc', '…'); as this.nextElementSibling.srcdoc = '…';

(We could even drop the this., but that might be more controversial.)
